Pop Art

REVITALISING ONE OF LEEDS' BEST KEPT SECRETS

Pop Art Media isn’t just another advertising company. They’re part of the Leeds creative scene. They sell ad space, but they do it with a mission in mind - to help artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, and other niche and worthy folk get noticed.

From poster drums to media sites, they own and manage prime advertising spaces, making sure the anyone can get their moment in the spotlight.

But while their work was still making waves, their brand needed revitalising, as their 15-year-old identity no longer reflected their energy, creativity, or connection to the city’s culture.

How to balance professionalism with being cool

Rick and Steve, the faces behind Pop Art, are cool, creative, and undeniably Leeds. And they are great at what they do.

We needed a way to refresh their brand in a way that kept that street-smart, grunge aesthetic while also reflecting their absolute professionalism and industry expertise.

We started by building a new, bolder brand identity. A new contemporary logo, an iconic yellow star avatar that can be used within the logo or independently, a fresh tone of voice, brand new image treatments and design assets. A new identity for the digital world, including a new website, but which will be used at events, on merchandise, and emblazoned on the workwear of their street teams.

Amplifying Pop Art

AMPLIFY!
Throughout the process, it became clear that Pop Art is a Leeds institution. Authentic, approachable, difference-makers - but beyond their immediate network, not many people know just how important they are to the city’s creative culture.
So, alongside their new website and brand assets, we’re working with them to shout louder about what they do. Through new marketing materials and digital content, our goal is to help amplify the Pop Art Media mission - not just in Leeds, but far beyond.
Because everyone deserves to be seen (including Pop Art)
